Single Easel Card Tutorial

As I am going to be away on holiday I thought I would leave daily posts of either a favourite card that I have made in the past or a tutorial.  I hope you will pop back each day to have a look.

When I get back there will be blog candy up for grabs so don't miss your chance crafters!

Here's a tutorial on how to make a single easel card:

1)  Take an A4 piece of card and measure a 29.4cm x 14.7cm rectangle from it, score and fold in half along the short edges to form a 14.7 square card.

2)  Determine the centre position between one of the short edges and the centre fold, score and fold to form the easel.

3)  Using the piece of card that you cut from the original piece of A4 card, measure a 14.7cm length and use to rest the easel against.  I use double sided pads to raise mine up.  You could use flowers, a bow, a button or anything similar as an alternate at this stage.

4)  Cut another piece of card measuring 14.7cm x 14.7cm which will be placed onto the easel shape.  You could use any shaped card at this stage i.e. circle, heart, smaller square, rectangle.

5)  Decorate your card.

I hope you have been able to follow this tutorial and can now use this for your own creations.

Happy crafting xx
