It's time for another challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and the theme that Jenny's chosen for her second challenge is "Kraft at Christmas".  Well we've got the weather for December haven't we so why not have the Christmas cards as well eh?

Floral Corners

Morning crafters!

Yeah it's Friday (yippee) and unfortunately it's another wet and miserable one so I guess there's no other option than to spend all day crafting!

We've got a new challenge for you over at Fussy and Fancy today with a photo inspiration for this challenge.  The card that I've used was created for the Clarity Stamp German TV show which was televised earlier this week.

Materials used:
Stamp - flower corner
Coloured with promarkers
Adirondack ink - stonewashed & butterscotch
Brads from my stash

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Milly with Flowers

Welcome to another wet weekend with flood warnings forecast all over the UK!  How much longer can this rain go on for?  I hope everyone is safe and has managed to avoid the worst of the weather.

I hope you're not one of the 20,000 ticket holders that have been told not to turn up at Silverstone today for the British Grand Prix practise sessions.  Apparently the roads were grid locked yesterday because of flooded car parks so they've shut them today in preparation for tomorrows race and told people to stay away.  I would be so disappointed if I were one of them, wouldn't you?

This week at A Gem of a Challenge, it's Jenny's turn to host the challenge and she's given us a fab sketch to work with:

It didn't take me long to choose my image from the great choice at Pink Gem Designs, but I did flip the sketch - again!!!!!!  Here's my card, but please pop over to the challenge blog for loads more inspiration from the Pink Gem girlies too.

Materials used:
Coloured with promarkers
Distress ink - spun sugar
Faux stitching - Marvy lePlume pen - cherry & peacock green
Doily and glitter from my stash
Label - heavenly tags
Sentiment - Janes Script
Adirondack ink - juniper
Backing paper - First Edition - Isabelle

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Wild Orchid - punch it out
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Outlawz - anything goes

Sketchy Shoe

Morning crafters and welcome to another week!

This last one has been a bit of a whirlwind for me.  My OH (Mark) has been away on holiday with his son in Cornwall so I've been busy all week finishing my cards for the Clarity Stamp shows that were on Create and Craft over the last weekend (30th June and 1st July).

I safely delivered them to Barbara on Friday and then waited in anticipation for the shows as this was the first time my cards had been submitted.  I was really nervous, but then when the show started on Sunday morning and they started to preview the stamps, there on the top of the pile for the sketchy shoe set was my card, oh WOW I was elated!!

The background flower/star is created using the small Kasha miniature from the remountable shoe set.  It has been inked with Versamark and then randomly dusted with 2 different colours of mica powder.  Don't forget to spray with a light dusting of hairspray to set it afterwards.

Here's my card for a closer look and underneath I've listed all the materials used to make it too.

Materials used:
Stamp - sketchy shoe
Coloured with promarkers:
Arctic blue, sky blue, cobalt blue & china blue
Nestability - labels 11
Adirondack ink - stonewashed
Faux stitching - Marvy lePlume pen - cherry
Mica powder - pearls
Ribbon and pearls
Eyelets from my stash

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Bunny Zoe's - girls, girls, girls
The Ribbon Girl - girlie
Charisma Cardz - anything goes
Sarah Hurley - dimension & texture
