Special Moments

Thanks to the good old English weather, rain has stopped play outside for today, but I did manage to get the garden weeded and helped Mark to lay a path!

So now I'm sat in my craft room and have been able to tick another thing off my "to try" list with this card as I've eventually got to play with my brayer after hours and hours of watching Barbara Gray from Clarity Stamps in action.  Doesn't she make it look easy?  I can't say that I've mastered the art yet, but I'm quite pleased with my first try :-)

I think this could be used for a sympathy card especially with the verse, but not sure with the bright colours!  I'd be interested to see what you think - good or bad :-)

Materials used:
Sentiment - memories
Big and juicy inkpad - vibrant primary
Ribbon from my stash

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Wags 'n' Whiskers - anything goes
Art Impression Stamps - thinking of you - WINNER
Craft a Scene - silhouettes
Sentimental Sundays - silhouettes - WINNER

xx Happy crafting and glittery hugs xx

  28. Gorgeous! My two favourite things here, brayering, and 'mosaic'ing a picture. I'm sure that's not a real word, but you know what I mean, lol. I actually think it would make a great sympathy card, it is calm & peaceful and I don't think its too bright at all, because of the way the colours merge into each other. Lovely entry for Craft A Scene, Shaz
